Uso de la Bordadora

Presione MENU hasta que aparezca "HOME MENU", presione ENTER
Aparecerá "SET HOME", presione ENTER, se moverá el aro.
Presione la tecla de la flecha que apunta arriba 2 veces.
Aparecerá "HOOP LIMITS ON", (si no, presione la tecla de la flecha que apunta a la derecha).
Presione la tecla de la flecha arriba. Aparecerá "SELECT HOOP", presione ENTER.
Presione la flecha arriba hasta que aparezca el tamaño correcto del aro. Presione ENTER. El aro se centrará solo.
Una vez el aro haya sido seleccionado está listo para bordar su diseño.
Presione la MENU hasta que aparezca "DESIGN MENU", presione ENTER. Use las flechas arriba y abajo hasta que encuentre el nombre del diseño que quiere bordar, presione ENTER.
Aparecerá "COLOR MENU", presione ENTER.
Elija los colores que quiere usar con las flechas, presione ENTER.
Aparecerá "RUN DESIGN", presione ENTER.
Aparecerá "MACHINE 01, READY".
Ahora está listo para trazar su diseño para ver si cabe en el aro. Presione MENU hasta que aparezca "TRACE MENU", presione ENTER.
Aparecerá "CENTERING OFF", presione la flecha a la derecha, aparecerá "CENTERING ON", presione ENTER.
La pantalla dirá "CALCULATING" por un tiempo, luego aparecerá "TRACE OUTLINE", presione ENTER, luego "TRACE" aparece y el nombre de si diseño, presione "START" y la máquina trazará el perímetro externo de su diseño. Si tiene que trazarlo de nuevo, presione de nuevo "START".
Cuando esté listo para bordar el diseño, presione ENTER, el nombre de su diseño aparece, además de cuatro líneas ---- . Presione START para bordar el diseño. (Presione "START" de nuevo si es necesario).
Cuando haya terminado el bordado, presione MENU hasta que aparezca "RESET MENU". Presione ENTER cuatro veces y estará listo para iniciar a bordar nuevamente.

PARA BORRAR UN DISEÑO

Presione MENU hasta que aparezca "DESIGN MENU", presione la flecha arriba hasta que aparezca el nombre del diseño.
Presione ALT al mismo tiempo que presiona la tecla de la flecha abajo.
Aparecerá "KILL DESIGN?". Presione la flecha arriba si quiere borrar; presionie la flecha abajo si no quiere borrar.
Presione ENTER para completar.

Using The Machine

Press the MENU key until "HOME MENU" appears, press ENTER
"SET HOME" will appear, hit ENTER, hoop will move.
Hit up arrow 2 times.
"HOOP LIMITS ON" will appear, (if not press right arrow).
Press up arrow. "SELECT HOOP" will appear, press ENTER.
Press up arrow until correct hoop size appears, press ENTER. Hoop will center itself.
Once hoop size has been selected you are ready to sew your design.
Press MENU key until "DESIGN MENU" appears, Press ENTER. Use up or down arrow until you find the name of the design you want to sew, press ENTER.
"COLOR MENU" will appear, press ENTER.
Choose the colors you want to use, press ENTER.
"RUN DESIGN" will appear, press ENTER.
"MACHINE 01, READY" will appear.
Now you are ready to trace your design to see if it will fit the hoop. Press MENU key until "TRACE MENU" appears, press ENTER.
"CENTERING OFF" will appear, press right arrow, "CENTERING ON" will appear, press ENTER.
The display will say "CALCULATING" for a while, then "TRACE OUTLINE" will appear, press ENTER, then "TRACE" and the name of your design will appear, press "START" and the machine will trace the outside perimeter of your design. If you need to trace again, press "START" again.
When you are ready to sew the design, press ENTER, the name of your design will appear, plus four lines ---- . Press START to sew the design. (Press "START" again if necessary).
When you have finished sewing, press the MENU key until "RESET MENU" appears. Press ENTER four times and you will be ready to start another sewing job.

TO REMOVE A DESIGN

Press MENU until "DESIGN MENU" appears, press up arrow until the name of the design appears.
Hit ALT key at the same time as you hit the down arrow.
"KILL DESIGN?" will appear. Hit up arrow if yes; hit down arrow if no.
Press ENTER to complete removal

How to Reset Your Tajima Machine

Barudan BEMS USB Reader Usage Instructions

Here is how to use the USB embroidery reader on a Tajima TME-DC912:

1. Connect the USB (with the machine turned-off)

2. Turn on the machine

3. Insert the USB stick.

4. Wait until the USB embroidery reader says "Ready".

5. Go to column 1. Chose 1, press SET 'til you get number 9, chose 1 and the USB embroidery reader will start transferring the design.

Tajima TMM embroidery machine with USB reader, Howto

How to load the designs from a USB reader on a Tajima TMM embroidery machine:

Make sure the USB Reader is ready. Make sure the color change is already set because you cannot set automatic color change colors after the tape is loaded.

To set the color change, please press to color change button on the CPU, then press RTRN.

Then start pressing the needle number that you want your colors to be on. 1, 2, 3, 4, etc...

When you have all the colors, press RTRN twice. Then continue with the transfer of the design in the next step.

1.Make sure the USB Reader screen says READY and your design is selected.

2.Press [READ] [TAPE] [RUN] . It will read the design from the USB Memory while the machine is sewing.

Do you repair Toyota AD820 motherboard and approximately how much?

More details about the problem...
I checked the fuses in the power supply and they're good. When turning the power on I get a sewing motor lock, and on some occasions when power turned on the needle bar would go up and down real fast for a few seconds then stop with a sewing motor lock error.

My question is being you indicated it is most likely the motherboard, should I send it to you and have you check it in another machine to verify? Whats the guarantee on repair of motherboard if determined it is faulty? What's the instructions and procedure for sending part to you?

If you can get an antistatic bag, etc that would be best.

Be sure to insure it and only send it with someone reliable like UPS and not the Postal Service.

Include a letter head with as much information on it as you can such as details on the problem and all that.

The LCD monitor screen of my machine stops before it loads the saved designs, what can I do?

I'm buying either a Brother PR-600 or a Happy Voyager... What's your opinon about these?

Well...

Those are good machines. However we wouldn't recommend them for any type of commercial use as they are still home type equipment (they usually advertise them as semi-industrial machines for that matter). For the price you are paying for those machines you can probably get a commercial type embroidery machine for the same price or even less.

You might be wondering what the difference is between a home use and a commercial grade embroidery machine. Well, not only the commercial embroidery machines have a larger sewing area and are faster, but you can make them work longer than the home use embroidery machines (try working 6+ hours in a Happy Voyager or a Brother PR 600 and you will understand).

I have two Tajima multihead machines, two Barudan multihead machines and two Brother machines...Can I install a USB drive to these?

The machines I have are Tajima TME DC1212, Tajima TME DC918, Barudan BEMSE YS 12T, Barudan BESR UG 12T, Brother BAS 416 and Brother BAS 423.

Yes, of course you can.

If you order the drives, you would have to order each one for each machine and specify what machine they are going into so we can get the correct connector for each one.

If you purchase 5 of the USB floppy drive upgrades for the machines that have disk drives in their control panel, I will give you a price of $1,125.

For the Barudan without disk drive you will need to buy a different device. I could sell you one of these devices and the 5 floppy drive upgrades for a total of $1,600 and I will take care of shipping. This will cover all 6 of your machines.

For all the machines except the Brothers you can purchase the following device: http://www.tewh.com/usb.php

The cheapest route you could go would be to buy 2 disk drives at regular price for the Brothers ($550 total), and one of the devices listed at $600. You will then need to buy 3 separate keys which we will sell at $75 each. However, we do not warranty the device when it is used on multiple machines. So your total would be $1375 like this. I will give you another $75 off if you go that route.

My recommendations of course is the $1600 option that will upgrade all machines.

Can you load desings to a Toyota machine via USB External Drive?

YES, you can load designs to a Toyota Embroidery Machine via USB
Instructions to load a file from the USB Reader

1. Plug in the 9-pin communication cable (female-to-female) to the 9-pin port on back of the Toyota embroidery machine.

If you have Toyota 820/830, this port will be 25-pins.

2. Plug other end of the communication cable to the USB.
3. Make sure everything is plug in on the USB and in the machine before you turn in on.

4. Start the USB and the machine at the same time.

5. Insert the USB stick on the USB reader, wait until It says READY.

6. On the Toyota embroidery machine. Go to the [EMB Start] menu, if it is not already there.

7. Press [DATA] button. It should be at the design menu now. Highlight [Input Design] and press [SET].

8. The screen now says [INPUT THRU PC]. The number defaults to [00].

9. Change the number to [01] by using the keypad, and press [SET].

(Or whatever number on you design.)

10. The [DATA] light should blink green as it downloads. It will beep when completed the download.

Which is the best brand of embroidery machine to buy?

We would recommend Tajima, Barudan, Toyota, SWF and Melco.

But first of all you have to tell us what you are looking to do, and your budget. Of course, the best machines are more expensive. Melco, SWF and Toyota are on the more inexpensive end, and you can find one head--and up to 4 head--Melco and SWF machines in the $4000-$7000 range.

As for the Tajima and Barudan you can find them in the $5000-$8000 range, with software and everything.

Tajima is by far the best, as many of our customers have stated in one of the polls we have in our blogs. Click here to find some prices on Tajima machines.

If you are going to do any type of embroidery (ie. caps, polos, flags, jackets), the best option is a Tajima machine or a flat head machine, as the Melco, SWF or Toyota machines. Or the Barudan machines that came after 1995.

If you are doing flat garments (ie. polos, flags, jackets), Tajima and Barudan are the best because of the large sewing area and the quality of the embroidery.

Do the used Tajima or Barudan embroidery machines have the same features as the new embroidery machines?

Yes, they do have the same features.

You have to keep in mind that even the first machines from the 1970s make the same stitches as the machines from the 90's as do the machines just coming off the assembly line.

Take into account some specifications:

Speed: has only been increased less than 25% since the 1970s. The machines from the 1990s have the same speed as the brand new machines.
USB Drives: there are new solutions for that, and a USB drive can be installed in any machine, no matter the year or the brand.
Number of Needles: most machines come with 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 or 15 needles, some are brand new some are used, it depends more on what you are going to do.
Sensors: the thread brake sensors and bobbin sensors have been in the embroidery machines for quite a while (10-15 years now).

Also when buying a used machine you can get the same as with a new machine: training, software, thread, USB drive to load designs, and even 1 year warranty... what else do you need?

How much is an embroidery circuit board? Where can I buy them?

Well... you better keep that damaged board!

As a matter of fact, the most expensive part of your embroidery machine is that box with the 'electronic board'. Most people in the embroidery business would tell you the same: 'the electronic boards are more expensive--in some cases--than the embroidery machine itself!'.

And it is true, so that is why the wise thing to do is to keep the damaged or burned electronic board and have it repaired at places like PLR Electronics (www.plrelectronics.com).

If you bought an embroidery machine without electronic boards, you lost your money; and if you want to buy new electronic boards you are probably going to spend a lot (around $3,000 per board).

There is another choice too: to buy refurbished electronic boards, but the prices aren't that cheap either. Here you can find some refurbished electronic boards, www.embaccess.com

The price of a single head used embroidery machine is usually below the $10,000 mark.

$12k -15k for a machine is more towards a multi-head embroidery machine than a portable embroidery machine. However, for that amount you could almost get 2 single heads.

You can find many machines in that price range ($2000 to $8000) by clicking here. You will be able to find great machines like the Tajima 1501 or the Melco Amaya for under $10,000.

And if you are looking for a portable 1 head embroidery machine, the best options are the Toyota embroidery machines or the Tajima Neo machines.
